Afghanistan’s deputy government spokesperson Hamdullah Fitrat said the airstrike hit the drug rehabilitation hospital about 9 pm local time, destroying large sections of the 2,000-bed facility.
This attack, the Taliban notes, is the deadliest in Afghanistan’s history after the suicide bombing at Kabul airport during the US withdrawal in 2021, when at least 169 Afghan civilians and 13 US service members died.

What a sad turn of events. Civilian lives should always be protected at every cost but I guess the world is being ruled by madmen now.

The Afghan govt has been given enough warnings not to let the TTP use their country to launch attacks on Pakistan. They haven’t done that despite international mediators such as Qatar and other countries assuring Pak. They are using all the weapons which USA left behind. It’s pretty clear that India and now Israel are backing them.
Obviously Pak has a much larger Army and Air Force and the Afghan army cannot stand up to a much bigger force.
