ECAC Announces Men’s Gymnastics Awards For Week Ending March 15

DANBURY, Conn. – The Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) announced it’s weekly awards for Men’s Gymnastics for the week ending March 15.

Gymnast of the Week

Evan Reichert – Springfield College, Jr.

Evan took the event title on the Vault this weekend with a 14.2 and finished within the top 5 in each of his other events with a 13.4 on FX and a 12.8 on PH. 

Routine of the Week

Owen Carney – Springfield College, Sr.

Owen’s 13.4 on the high bar was good enough for first place in the event against Navy, earning him the event title for the second week in a row.

Rookie of the Week

Garrett Alexander – Simpson College, Fr.

Garrett had season highs on floor (13.25) and pommel horse (13.3), earning him the floor title against William & Mary.
