So this UK guy is claiming in court that his wife managed to steal $176M worth of Bitcoin by basically watching him through recorded footage while he was accessing his wallet.

If this is actually true, then we’ve officially entered the era where your biggest security risk would not be a hacker but someone close to you.

Honestly though it feels less like a crypto story and more like a failed marriage one.

Curious what you guys think…is this just an extreme edge case or something more people should actually be worried about?

  1. Tell no one you have crypto…NO ONE. If I had any, I wouldn’t tell a soul.

“we’ve officially entered the era where your biggest security risk would not be a hacker but someone close to you” this has literally always been the case.

  5. this is why you never keep seed phrases anywhere a camera can see. divorce lawyers are scary enough without giving them 176m reasons to find you
