If Kemi Badenoch was PM, the UK would currently be taking part in the US/Israel attack on Iran and she’d be desperately trying to beg the rest of NATO to send ships to help secure the strait. As Trump is finding out, you can’t just change your mind and back out of a war after realising it’s not a great idea.
Starmer read the situation correctly from the start. Badenoch (and Farage) would’ve eagerly leapt to do Trump’s bidding. That’s something nobody should ever forget, regardless of how much they try to pretend they’re against the war and Trump now.
