  1. it’s always a great sign when the sales pitch for a war is apparently too fragile to survive a full meeting.

literally anybody that has the slightest idea about human history can tell you how this almost always turns into a disaster. literally countless kings, dictators, leaders, etc completely ruined their countries because of this type of behavior.

    unbelievable.

    >”The Israelis drove the decision to take this action,” Kent told Carlson. He cited comments from U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio and U.S. House Speaker Mike Johnson suggesting that Israel’s plans prompted the U.S. to take action.

    >Kent, who has previous connections to right-wing extremists, said Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and other Israeli officials personally lobbied Trump, often with information that U.S. officials couldn’t confirm.

    >”When we would hear what they were saying, it didn’t reflect intelligence channels,” Kent said.

  4. the kind of people he has in his circle that are afraid to tell him even an opinion that contradicts his is astounding.

this country is not going to survive if the mid-terms don’t change anything. and even if it does, this country is going to have to find a way out of a very deep hole.

  5. I’m really hoping our American friends figure things out. I feel like watching Neo play the east-wng-rennovation as the empire burns.

Not debriefing Iran war concerns to the president is the greatest way to gamble more US lives when it comes to this cockamamie crusade.

They all have to wear the same shoes that their dear leader sadistic ally orders in the wrong size and bullies them into wearing bigger sizes in a dick measuring contest.

It’s a sad state of affairs.

  8. Concerns like Iran being a geographical fortress that is basically unassailable from any way other than air?  And you can’t even hold the sea because of the straight of Hormuz and needing to control both sides of it on land?

So who’s the master, Israel or USA?

  10. So, who is the gatekeeper for information headed to the President ? Which of the people in the inner most circle keeps vital information from reaching Trump ? We are at war, so this could be treason.

At this point, all I can do is laugh. Over 77 million people voted for this. Insanity.

This administration appears to really believe that Iran is literally Venezuela (a centralized strongman dictatorship) rather than a theocratic system embedded tightly to manage decapitation strikes. Even if the high command in Tehran is wiped out, IRGC units are dispersed throughout the country, and Quds Force aligned paramilitaries are stationed across the broader MENA region to keep the political institutions afloat.

It is a similar arrangement to the Soviet-Afghan War. I would just make the arguement that there is less going for us than the Soviets. We don’t have armed resistance like the Communist Government in Afghanistan to fortify stability. Artesh seems to be quite submissive towards the IRGC too, we have yet to see defections from them like we did in Syria within a week of Assad massacring protestors.

Additionally, Iran is 50-60% coated with mountains and we would either commit to an amphibious invasion or invade through Pakistan if the war aim is “regime change”. This would require minimum 300k troops to jolt into Iran as well. Not to mention, Russia and China would likely feed the IRGC weapons, intel, etc. to sap us like we did with the Soviets when we armed the Mujadeen.

It feels like a geopolitical catastrophe is on the horizon.

  13. All this people still acting surprised by this. The guy had a full 4 year term of this shit. People take turns praising him at meetings. It’s his entire MO. So sick of people being surprised by the narcissist behavior

  14. It’s quite funny to witness from afar how the corrupt officials are afraid bec they fear they will get the truth social treatment, being insulted – by a pedo toddler that is. What the fuck would I care over an insult from such a weak and dumb individual?? You give him power bec you are weak.

I’m honestly surprised this administration hasn’t come out and claim Trump doesn’t take shits

  16. This is the end result of a multi-decade war on expertise. Theres a through line from this, to the covid denialism, vaccine refusal, climate change denial, Reaganomics, “Evolution is Just a Theory” etc.

Everything is an Unknown Unknown when your entire groups reason d’etre is an ever expanding set of falsehoods.

  17. And this is why we got Tusli’s “not my job” answer in front of congress. “Intelligence” Is basically just “whatever great leader thinks” in this admin. Scary stuff!

We already know he’s completely surrounded by sycophants and yes-men. Just look at his cabinet. You couldn’t assemble a better crew of absolute glazers if you tried.

I mean it’s almost as if you know they could stop it because the government isn’t run by this fucking cunt it’s run by those worthless pieces of shit just sitting on their hands. They could remove him tomorrow and end this and they don’t. They are fucking worse than him.
