Not looking forward to having the weekend overrun with ARMYs.Was looking forward to enjoying the cleaner air again, but going to have to avoid a lot of my usual spots/neighbourhoods.

Sometimes I wish kpop didn’t become known world wide. My first Korean media was not kpop but horror movies, those being H, R-point, Into the mirror to name a few. I like kpop but it saddens me that people see korea as this Disney land like place and don’t look further into the culture. Such a price to pay becoming a soft power.

Even though I’m not planning on attending, I think this is an incredible and exciting event that the city and country is organizing. BTS and their fans deserve it.
Besides it’s going to increase tourism and is a nice change in tune compared with the huge protests that often happen there.
