    Feels like one of those decisions that’s gonna hit people harder than they expect, especially if anyone was relying on that support long term. Governments always cut stuff on paper but the real impact shows up later.

    Does the Japanese government know what’s going on in Iran? Or has Takaichi just bought a big stake in Shell?

    I don’t support Takaichi, but this is one of the best decisions from this administration.

    Unbelievable how companies can go and destroy the ecosystem, build a bunch of solar panels, profit without any repercussions. And not just avoiding repercussions–they were receiving insane amounts of government subsidies on top of the profit.
