Nothing’s been resolved. So it’s actually ‘17% for 3-5 years *so far.”*

  2. geez, the ripple effect this could do. 17% gone for 3 to 5 years is the kind of sentence that quietly ruins a whole lot of energy planners’ weekends.

  3. Oh, excellent! This is fine! No problems here. Just normal people doing normal things. No chance of escalation. This will be the worst of it now, everything is fine!

I would bet that the prices will never go down. Whatever happens now, they will be pointing to this day and blaming the high costs of fuel on this for years. Just like how prices rose during Covid and then kept high whilst the weight and sizes of food products decreased, or how now companies will get the money back from the tariffs but the prices will stay the same and the consumer will pay it. Multiple record years for oil companies, endless bonus payouts for those high up in the companies and the consumer will get fucked again. All because an old billionaire who was on a high from using the military in Venezuela thought he could take out the leader of Iran and they would bow to America. The same guy who probably hasn’t filled up his own car at the fuel pumps for 40+ years.

I’d be laughing over these authoritarian slave countries being hurt financially, if it didn’t also hurt everyone else

  6. Man, whatever investment Putin made in Trump is the best deal in the history of humanity.

At what point do the sane nations in the world take some action to protect their financial, political, agricultural and industrial stability from the side effects of this harebrained, delusional venture? We can shake our heads over the US Government being handed over to a geriatric puppet, we can shudder at genocidal uncontrolled “accidental” killings of innocents, but the world, in it’s entirety, is now in a very dangerous place. We cannot rely on, or trust, the abilities of the leaders of the directly involved combatant countries to even control the spread of the damage, far less put the genie back in the bottle. It would be a sad irony if the triggers for the end game of human civilisation were pulled by creatures like Trump and Netanyahu, but perhaps they are what we deserve.

Yes but have you considered an old deranged pedo felt something in his bones.

  9. “Donald, Sheikh Tamin here.”

“Oh, hi Tamin. How’s it going?”

“We want our fucking plane back, you moron. That’s how it’s going.”

Somebody should put a leash on Netanyahu.

This is just a taste. There are city sized refineries in the region that have been growing nonstop for decades, some are 100+ year old. They’re all very flammable and easy targets.

If everyone goes all out, $200 gas will become the baseline and world economy will lose an entire decade. Forget the economics, the human catastrophe in the region and beyond would be immeasurable. We don’t just extract oil for oil. There are 100s of byproducts we depend on daily.

Just burning up the fossil fuels for fun now are we? Not even using it for anything useful just putting that shit into the air for funsies

  12. It will be painful for years thanks to Donnie. Anyone who tries to twist this any other way is delusional.

Nobody wanted this war but him and Bibi, we need this shit to be put to bed and begin rebuilding.

What many don’t understand beyond stock markets and rich people outcry is that the poor will suffer more, those that barely get by will now have to struggle even more. It’s ridiculous!

  13. I gotta fill up my car today because this shits about to jump to 10 bucks a gallon

It seems that Iron knows what it is doing.

They aren’t going to “win” by going might against might. They are going to cause as much disruption to the world as possible to try to force the US and Israel to pull back. While Iran had hit some neighboring targets and oil fields before, with the US and Israel really going after Iran’s oil fields it opened the door for all hell to break loose.

There was no way Iran was going to stand by and have their fields destroyed and let their neighbors that house US bases etc be left untouched. That math is pretty simple to do. Just like the closing of the strait. I’m not sure anyone did that math before launching the initial attacks.

  15. Who would’ve thought a government with an inferior professional military had the strategy to attack the west economically instead of solely militarily. /s

The dumber part is now Iran is creating the blueprint on how to handle US aggression. Fuck car bombs in major cities or mass shootings, blow up refineries and oil fields.

Guys I think I figured out the 9D Chess Blurns Ball strategy! We are going to destroy oil production in the world to force renewables. By this time next year everyone will own electric cars, our air will be cleaner, my gut will be gone, my wife will love me again, and my kids will respect me.

    All hail the US president!

  17. This is done to relieve sanctions on russia’s lng supply to europe.

    I fucking guarantee it.
