Exact numbers are often put into question, since beavers are not easy to count, but the population growth is obvious and really fast – 50 years ago there were about 500 beavers in Poland, today that number is estimated at around 150.000 – 300 times more beavers in 2 generations

This partially explains excitement and shock of some people seeing beavers for the first time, not that long ago to see a beaver you’d have to go to some remote swamp or forest, today you can easily find them even in Warsaw

  1. Populacja rośnie, bo skoro człowiek nie może na nie polować, i bardziej troszczy sie o ich siedliska (czystość wody też się niesamowicie poprawiła) to w zasadzie nie mają wrogów.

    No bo co ma wpierdolić bobra? Niedźwiedź?
