KFOR soldiers from Germany, Switzerland and the United States of America, part of the Regional Command-East (RC-E), have conducted a medical evacuation (MEDEVAC) training at Camp Bondsteel.
The training included hoist extraction procedures, simulating real operational situations.
This practical exercise tested the participants’ accuracy, communication, and composure under simulated conditions, contributing to increasing the interoperability and readiness of military units to respond at any time when required.
According to the KFOR announcement, through such activities, KFOR personnel maintain situational awareness and demonstrate their continued commitment to guaranteeing a safe environment for all citizens in Kosovo.
KFOR says it continues to implement its mandate to ensure a peaceful and secure environment, as well as freedom of movement for all, at all times and in an impartial manner. /Telegraph/
