A stretch of the N7 in the canton of Clervaux has been completely closed following a multi-vehicle accident on Friday morning, according to the Automobile Club du Luxembourg (ACL).
The crash occurred between Hoscheid and Hoscheid-Dickt, in the municipality of Parc Hosingen, and involved six vehicles. The area lies within the Clervaux canton in northern Luxembourg.
Emergency services from the Luxembourg’s national fire and rescue service (CGDIS) were dispatched to the scene and remain on site.
According to the ACL, the road has been fully blocked in both directions at the site of the accident. Motorists are being advised to avoid the area while emergency operations continue.
One person was seriously injured in the accident, according to a police update. No details have been released regarding the cause of the collision.
