Well Rogan is a right winger who hates Trudeau so brothers from another mother?

Rogan has no real idea about issues in Canada, again a cakewalk.

This kind of podcast is usually friendly and conversational. Easy mode.

PP avoids actual Canadian journalists like a vampire avoids garlic. Too many difficult questions and biting follow-ups.

Thats why PP loses elections like a machine. He knows what the voters dont like and he delivers it!

  2. Wow, that’s exactly what I wrote this morning as a comment to another article on this.

Why does PP becomes a more professional politician when he goes in the US, but acts like a freaking populist one in Canada? That doesn’t seem to me to be a very respectful approach towards Canadians.

  3. I bet Joe didn’t even know he won’t get his security clearance. PP just isn’t taking the role he wants seriously.

My initial comment doesn’t have the furthest reaching insights to add, but the Peter Mansbridge interview now no longer exists?

Is that not exactly the type of long form “new PP” interview that he gave in Joe’s podcast?

Furthermore, I’m saying this as somebody who did not vote for Pierre nor support him.

Begrudgingly I have to classify this as a win, he was extremely restrained while using examples like the Ford truck and its components to demonstrate the value of Canada and free trade. He even defended Trudeau! When Rogan started with the Castro jokes.

  5. Was it an easy podcast? Sure. Pierre has fumbled on easy podcasts as well. However, this was a decent podcast. I think he did well on this one but it doesn’t change what we have seen from him. I would’ve believed this way more had it been done almost immediately during the elections but now? Nah. He stuck to he his imo.

I mean Carney’s biggest and first interview was with the daily show. It’s just more effective for them to get on the biggest platforms.

I liked the beaver article captioned “Pp accidentally poles not horribly with Canadian women, and quickly books show on joe rogan to fix this”

What an intellectual cross roads we are at- the comedic value of the same people who like joe Rogan wanting to defund the cbc is something you’d expect to see in a show like arrested delvopment or 30 rock.

I have loosely followed Pierre since before he was elected CPC Leader, and I watched the whole podcast yesterday. PP said the same things he’s been saying for the last 4 years. There was absolutely no new content. You all just don’t listen while simultaneously allowing biased media such as the CBC to infiltrate your not-so-independant thoughts.

  9. in what world does appearing on a right wing and incredibly biased american podcast help your image for canadian voters ?

  10. It’s insane to me how low the bar is. Like people are applauding him for not being a complete embarrassment or insufferable ass.

Yes he managed an interview where he looked remotely human, doesn’t change the last 25 years of who or what he was.
