Dense Fog, Frost Forecast ahead of Clear Weekend

Thick fog limiting visibility to less than 200 meters is forecast to develop late Friday night in southern Gyeonggi Province, South Chungcheong Province and the Jeolla provinces, while other areas will also see foggy conditions.

According to the Korea Meteorological Administration, frost is likely to form in inland regions starting early Saturday morning and persist through the morning hours.

The country will see mostly clear skies on Saturday, although a wide gap between daytime and nighttime temperatures is expected.

Saturday morning lows will be similar to Friday’s, ranging from minus four to plus seven degrees Celsius nationwide, with Seoul reaching two degrees.
 
Daytime highs will remain steady or nudge up slightly, ranging from 12 to 19 degrees across the country and posting 15 degrees in Seoul.

On Sunday, skies will turn partly cloudy across the country, with brief rainfall expected on Jeju Island in the afternoon.
