The Embassy of the Republic of Kosovo in Austria has announced that all necessary procedures regarding the tragic case that occurred there have been completed, in close cooperation with the families of the victims and the competent Austrian authorities.

According to the official announcement, the bodies of Kosovo citizens, Asllan Musliu, Istref Zekaj and Pajtim Bajrami, were flown to Kosovo on Friday afternoon.

“In close coordination with the victims’ families and the competent Austrian authorities, all necessary procedures regarding the tragic case that occurred in Austria have been completed,” the Embassy’s announcement states.

At the same time, the Embassy expressed its most sincere condolences to the families of the victims, their relatives and all those affected by this loss.

“In these difficult moments, we once again express our most sincere condolences to the families of the deceased,” it is further emphasized.

Gratitude was also expressed to compatriots who have shown solidarity and willingness to help during this difficult period.

“We express our gratitude to our compatriots, who, with their interest and willingness to help, showed solidarity in these difficult moments,” the response reads at the end.

Four workers died on March 17, 2026, in a tragic incident that occurred in the Austrian capital, Vienna.

The Embassy of the Republic of Kosovo in Austria confirmed that three of the victims are Kosovo citizens.
