Striker Edon Zhegrova is not expected to play any minutes in the match against Sassuolo, due to a minor injury, reports the major Italian newspaper “Gazzetta dello Sport”.
The Kosovo star did not play at all in the last match, but Italian media reports that he will not appear this weekend either, with coach Luciano Spalletti preferring not to risk it.
As reported by “Gazzetta dello Sport”, Zhegrova has felt great fatigue in training and has a minor physical problem.
“Juventus risks doing without Edon Zhegrova against Sassuolo due to a minor physical problem and fatigue accumulated during training. Spalletti and the medical staff prefer not to take any risks, evaluating until the last moment whether to include him at least on the reserve bench,” it says, among other things.
It remains to be seen whether Zhegrova will play any minutes and if not, whether Juventus will allow her to travel to Kosovo for the World Cup play-offs.
