“Man I wish there was a creation that just sucked up all the resources, enshittified everything, and brought zero tangible economic boosts to anything it got attached to” – AI enters the room
This will bite them back in the balls
Just more hype by the AI bros.
Doesn’t concern major Japanese companies because these companies first hire and decide on the position afterwards. That is, major Japanese companies don’t hire “junior positions”.
The author of the article is basing the story on his work experience with foreign company where he worked. There’s nothing new here because it already happened in US. There’s actually more to this. US companies are now hiring more people. It’s just that type of the job differ. Can read all about it by keeping up on US news\ even though, the news is pretty old now.
EDIT: Don’t know why they have “A graduate of University of Tokyo’s science” in the title. A high school student in US knows about the information contained in the article.
I expect news about companies losing millions yen for stupid decisions or code made by AI without any proper review because responsible people were lazy or competent people were laid off or left.
