PADUCAH — In case you missed it, the City of Paducah Finance Department will host an informational workshop on Business License Renewals for local business owners at the McCracken County Library tomorrow, March 23.
The workshop is titled “Renewal by the Book: A Guide to Business License Renewals,” and will be held Monday, March 23. It will last from 2 p.m., to 3:30 p.m., in the large meeting room on the second floor of the McCracken County Public Library, which is located at 555 Washington Street, in Paducah.
Paducah Finance Department Revenue Auditors Erica Gipson and Gina Winfield will lead the workshop. This workshop is part of a strategic plan prioritizing Revenue Equity by the Paducah Board of Commissioners.
The workshop aims to help small business owners and self-employed people, new entrepreneurs and anyone else who may be responsible for managing business license renewals. The session will feature a step-by-step walkthrough of the license renewal process, highlight common mistakes, and offer practical tips.
“I highly encourage local businesses to attend this informational workshop,” said Mayor George Bray. “The City of Paducah Finance Department wants to make this process as easy to understand as possible. We will support businesses in setting up accounts and streamlining the renewal process or support new businesses in filing for the first time.”
Attendees will be given informational handouts as reference material, as well as the opportunity for a question-and answer session to be held at the end of the workshop.
