Majority think Doug Ford is failing to protect Ontario, new poll shows

>Just 26 per cent of those polled said Ford was doing a good job of protecting Ontario when it comes to the issue of housing and only 27 per cent thought he was doing very well or somewhat well at making things more affordable.

A few paragraphs later:

>Forty-two per cent of those polled said they would vote for the Progressive Conservatives if an election were to be held tomorrow

What the **actual** fuck, fellow Ontarians. “He’s doing a bad job on practically everything, but I’d still vote for him!”

Yet with the first-past-the-post voting system, he can still be elected with the majority of votes being against him. Proportional representation now! We need a citizens assembly to consider all the options and find a new system that works the best for Canada.
