  1. Hell, it’s Russian ship building…… it’s 10 years and 4 fires away from being a worthwhile target!

  2. *drone operator is that meme of the guy standing behind the tree rubbing his hands and smiling*

  3. This is heralded to be a brand new class of warship – a submersible amphibious assault ship.

Now, you may scoff and chuckle at that, thinking that Russia does not have the werewithal to design and build a submersible assault ship.

But that’s where Ukraine comes in.

Is it o e that with a few minor alterations to the plans magically turns into an oligarchs luxury yacht?

  5. The Ukrainians have determined the optimal time to strike this ship.

I’d imagine it would be most demoralizing for the Russians if their brand new naval vessel was destroyed right before the ship builders release the ship to the Russian Navy.

  6. This ship is a replacement for the two phibs that Russia ordered from France, which were then canceled after the start of the war in 2014. Why France originally did the deal is beyond me, but at least they were not delivered.

  7. Is it going to carry Mi-8 helicopters and MTLB:s? Thats the equipment that russia will have left when it’s finished

Why build near the conflict zone? Is Crimea actually secured now from Ukraine attacks or are they mocking them?

hear me out, the bomb goes off like 3 seconds after the champagne bottle breaks against the hull.

or is it funnier if it’s 15 minutes.

  10. Why would the Ukrainians bother? It’s probably at least ten years from completion and if they ever finish it there’s probably a 50% chance it’ll just roll over when it hits the water like that frigate(?) they helped the north koreans build.

  11. Knowing how Moscow does business, this is a ploy. A few folks line their pockets with cash, then ‘woops, all the money went up in smoke when Ukraine blew it up.’

If there’s one thing I’ve learned from this war, it’s that the reason Russias only competent naval vessels are submarines is because they’ve become experts in the field of having their stuff sunk XD
