Sabrina Escobar
Sabrina Escobar has been named the newsletter writer for Barron’s Global Signals, a new premium geopolitics newsletter in partnership with Oxford Analytica.
Escobar joined Barron’s Advisor covering wealth management as an intern through the Dow Jones News Fund and began working with Barron’s in 2021 covering markets and trending news. She became Barron’s retail reporter in 2022.
Before Barron’s, Sabrina received a master’s in journalism at the Columbia Journalism School, where she investigated the military-industrial complex and the impacts of immigration reform on domestic violence survivors. During her time at Columbia, she received a Pulitzer fellowship, as well as the Henry N. Taylor Award for international journalists.
Escobar also holds a master’s degree in Latin American studies from the University of Oxford and a bachelor’s degree from the University of Richmond.
