Paris, Mar. 24 (SANA) A delegation from the Syrian Investment Authority, headed by Talal al-Hilali, met in Paris with Claudia Salomon, President of the International Court of Arbitration linked to the International Chamber of Commerce, on the sidelines of International Arbitration Week.

During the meeting, which was also attended by Jamal Qasmi, Chairman of the Syrian-French Business Council, and Jean-Baptiste Faivre, the French Chargé d’Affaires in Syria, the two sides discussed prospects for economic cooperation and ways to improve the business environment in Syria.

Earlier today, the Syrian Investment Authority delegation also met with representatives of the World Bank to discuss cooperation opportunities and ways to enhance the investment environment in Syria.

The International Court of Arbitration is an institution for the resolution of international commercial disputes. It operates under the auspices of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) and consists of more than 100 arbitrators from roughly 90 countries.
