BALLSTON SPA, NY (WRGB) — A Glenville woman has pleaded not guilty to DWI vehicular manslaughter in connection with an incident outside Bentley’s Tavern last year.

State police said Morgan Lange struck Josh Soden just after 10pm on Sept. 8 outside Bentley’s Tavern in Malta, where both of them worked. Investigators said Soden was pinned under her vehicle. Lange’s blood alcohol content was measured at 0.12, according to police.

Soden died at Albany Medical Center, after weeks in critical condition. Already charged with vehicular assault, tampering with evidence and driving while intoxicated, Lange was then additionally charged with vehicular manslaughter.

According to the Saratoga County District Attorney’s Office, Lange was released on her own recognizance, with a trial date set for Aug. 31.
