The draw for the Euro 2028 qualifying cycle in men’s handball determined the Ukrainian national team’s initial group allocation.
The Ukrainian national team has been drawn into Group 3 and will play alongside Serbia, Estonia, and Iceland.
The qualifying matches will run from 4 November 2026 to 9 May 2027. The first away game against Iceland will open the qualifying cycle.
Group 3 schedule: Round 1 – 4–5 November: Iceland – Ukraine; Round 2 – 7–8 November: Ukraine – Serbia; Round 3 – 10–11 March: Estonia – Ukraine; Round 4 – 13–14 March: Ukraine – Estonia; Round 5 – 5–6 May: Ukraine – Iceland; Round 6 – 9 May: Serbia – Ukraine.
Euro 2028 Qualifying Format
Two teams from each group will advance to the Euro 2028 finals; there will be eight groups in total, and four additional berths will be decided from the thirteen third-placed teams.
The Ukrainian team continues its preparation for the qualifying matches and hopes for a successful showing in the tournament.
