2025 junior world all-around silver medalist Elena Colas of France captured the senior all-around title and the U.S. seniors earned a narrow victory in the team event at the 17th City of Jesolo Trophy competition that ended Sunday in Italy.
Colas, the 2024 European junior all-around champion, outscored silver medalist Charlie Bullock of the U.S., who was fifth in the junior division last year. Li Rongjinyi of China claimed bronze.
Simone Rose of the U.S. repeated her fourth-place finish from last year, one rank ahead of U.S. teammate Reese Esponda. Caroline Moreau of the U.S., last year’s junior all-around silver medalist, placed sixth.
The U.S. bettered silver medal-winning France by 0.135 to take gold in the senior team event, with Italy-2 earning bronze.
Defending all-around champion Manila Esposito of Italy competed only on balance beam, where she fell twice and scored 11.733. She won the 2024 and 2025 European all-around titles and placed third on balance beam at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.
Senior apparatus winners were Benedetta Gava of Italy on vault, Colas on uneven bars, Mariana Prat of France on balance beam and Esponda on floor exercise.

Led by junior all-around silver medalist Kylie Smith and junior all-around bronze medalist Addalye VanGrinsen, the U.S. won the junior team title by nearly two points over France, with Italy claiming bronze.
