March Madness continued Sunday with both the men’s and women’s NCAA tournaments in action. The men’s field wrapped up its Final Four field and two teams booked their tickets on the women’s side too.

In the men’s tournament, No. 1 Michigan continued its torrid run through the NCAA tournament with a 95-62 rout of No. 6 Tennessee. That makes four consecutive blowout wins of more than 20 points for the Wolverines. In the late game, it was a clash of the titans with UConn vs. Duke and the Huskies completed a furious comeback with a last-second 3-pointer to knock out the Blue Devils.

Undefeated UConn got things started on the women’s side, continuing its dominant run in a 70-52 blowout win over Notre Dame. Then Lauren Betts and No. 1 UCLA overcame a slow start against Duke and held on late to advance to the Final Four.

Cameron Boozer (likely) finishes his last game at Duke with 27 points, eight rebounds and four assists. Boozer also turned the ball over four times, and his turnover with less than 1:10 to go turned into a 3-pointer from Alex Karaban that cut the Blue Devils’ lead to one just seconds later.

Boozer will likely win the Wooden Award as the player of the year in college basketball before a potential 2026 NBA Draft declaration. If and when Boozer declares, he’s going to be a likely top-five pick in June.

Duke led 70-65 with 1:51 to go after a free throw by Patrick Ngongba II. But the Blue Devils committed two turnovers inside the final 70 seconds. And the final turnover turned out to be the dagger.

UConn and Braylon Mullins just wrote one of the greatest endings to a game in NCAA tournament history.

The Huskies had no business winning that game. But they kept fighting and clawing even though nothing was falling. The 3-point shots finally did. And some incredible defense — and a questionable decision to pass the ball by Cayden Boozer — gave them the opportunity for an incredible moment.

Duke leads 70-66 with the ball and 1:20 to play. The Huskies are nearly out of chances to close the gap.

The Huskies are 3-of-20 from behind the 3-point line, have made six fewer free throws and are getting out-rebounded by eight.

But they’ve committed six fewer turnovers than the Blue Devils and have 13 points off Duke’s 11 turnovers. Duke has seven points off five UConn turnovers.

Somehow the Huskies have rallied to make this a one-score game. Duke’s lead is down to 67-64 with 3:42 to go. Strap in!

Maybe the 3-point well is finally open for UConn? The Huskies need a few more.

Just when it seemed like UConn was closing the gap, the Blue Devils came right back and extended the lead. It would help if the Huskies could knock down a few 3-pointers. They’re 1 of 18 from distance in this game.

Duke leads 62-51. 7:59 to go.

Reed is having a heck of an NCAA tournament. He’s 9-of-15 from the floor for 23 points and has six rebounds so far. He does have three fouls, however; if he gets a fourth, UConn may roll the dice and leave him in.

The Huskies are making their first real run of this game, and it’s mostly Tarris Reed getting it done. He’s got 23 points and Duke’s lead is down to 56-49 with 10:59 to play.

The Huskies are getting good looks … but none are going in. And it’s blunting any hope of a comeback.

We’re back in action for Duke vs. UConn in the East regional final.

The Huskies are shooting 35.3%, including a putrid 1 of 11 from 3-point range. That will obviously need to improve if they have any shot of coming back in this one.

Duke is hitting 51.7% of its shots.

The Boozer brothers are leading the way for Duke. Cameron has 14 points, 5, rebounds, 3 assists and 2 blocks. Cayden has 13 points on 4 of 4 shooting.

Not only is UConn having issues defending Duke’s frontcourt, but the Huskies now can’t buy a basket.

After Michigan destroyed Tennessee earlier today, this game appears to be going in that direction as Duke went on a 14-0 run to open up a huge lead.

Blue Devils lead UConn 44-25 late in the 1st.
