Does it seem that they often go for the legs when the russians are facing away / running?
Is it because its easier to hit? coincidence? seems like hell if they somehow survive

Geez these pilots are getting good at flying and calculating hit points. I can imagine for some as soon as they get a hit, it’s like ‘there’s more, set up another drone’.
Wouldn’t be surprised if the pilots race each other to the engagement zone.

Genuine question; why do so few of the drone videos I see at least have the Russians stand their ground and try to shoot the drones? Is it just survivorship bias where most successful drone videos are where the Russians panic and try to hide/run instead of shooting it down?

I cannot imagine the sheer terror of having to fight that plus all of the other normal aspects of war. And most times there’s two of them – one chasing and the other on overwatch. So if you do mange to evade or down the closest one, there’s zero time to breathe because the overwatch is now on you.
