The average prices of gasoline and diesel both increased on Tuesday.
According to the Korea National Oil Corporation’s price information system, Opinet, as of 9 a.m., the average price of gasoline at gas stations nationwide stood at one-thousand-888-point-99, or roughly one U.S. dollar and 24 cents, per liter, up seven-point-nine won from the previous day.
Diesel prices rose seven-point-49 won from the previous day to one-thousand-880-point-72 won per liter.
The average gasoline price in Seoul rose eight-point-96 won from the previous day to one-thousand-941-point-96 won per liter, and that of diesel rose by ten-point-75 won to one-thousand-918-point-25 won per liter.
