An inauguration ceremony was held at Timisoara Traian Vuia International Airport, attended by Turkish Airlines and Airport executives, emphasizing the significance of the new route in enhancing regional connectivity.

To mark the launch of the new route, Turkish Airlines is offering special fares starting from USD 169 for travel on the Istanbul–Timisoara–Istanbul route. Fares are available on Turkish Airlines’ official website and may vary at sales offices and travel agencies.

The launch of Timisoara flights enables Turkish Airlines to further strengthen its operations in Romania while offering its guests access to its extensive global network of 358 destinations via Istanbul.

Commenting on the launch, Turkish Airlines CEO Bilal Ekşi stated: “Romania continues to be one of the strategically important markets for Turkish Airlines in Eastern Europe. The launch of our Timisoara flights expands our presence to a fourth city in the country, offering our guests more travel options while strengthening access to our Istanbul-centered unparalleled global network. We believe that this new route will contribute to both commercial and tourism activity in the region.”
