The average prices of gasoline and diesel both surpassed one-thousand-900 won per liter on Wednesday.
According to the Korea National Oil Corporation’s price information system, Opinet, as of 4 p.m., the national average price for a liter of gasoline stood at one-thousand-909-point-seven won, or roughly one U.S. dollar and 27 cents, up 14-point-eight won from the previous day.
Diesel prices rose 15-point-four won from the previous day to one-thousand-901-point-six won per liter.
The average gasoline price in Seoul rose nine-point-four won to one-thousand-954-point-seven won per liter, while diesel rose by nine won to one-thousand-930-point-eight won per liter.
