The Rhode Island Department of Environmental Management said Friday that Gravy the turkey has been recaptured.
The troublesome wild turkey on Aquidneck Island is undergoing a wellness check.
Gravy was hit by a car earlier this year in Middletown, but recovered.
After being released in the same area, Gravy continued to harass drivers while people worried about his safety.
DEM said it is evaluating options to protect Gravy’s well-being.
