A team of young Optimist sailors are competing at the Sailing Point Easter Regatta in Slovenia, racing in a fleet of 367 boats.
The team includes Jesse Savage, Thomas McBain, Heath Meyers, Elaine Jones, Rex Henagulph, Miguel Leite, Walker Smith and Alfie Jansma.
McBain made a strong start to the regatta, winning his opening race and sitting 24th overall after six races.
Meyers is 50th, Savage 64th, Henagulph 125th, Jansma 160th, Leite 192nd, Smith 233rd and Jones 293rd.
The sailors are accompanied by national coach Pablo Weber and several parents.
Racing will split into gold, silver and bronze fleets over the weekend, with the regatta set to conclude today.
