WASHINGTON (7NEWS) — An investigation is underway after a crash caused a Metro bus to slam into a restaurant in Northwest D.C., leaving at least three people hurt on Saturday morning.
The crash happened on April 4 near 7th Street and Q Street, NW, where officials said the bus was hit and then careened into a building, ending up partially inside the AMBAR Restaurant, which was empty at the time.
Authorities said three adult women were taken to nearby hospitals with minor injuries, including the bus driver.
7News was at the scene when the bus was finally removed from the building just before noon.
