MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) – The Myrtle Beach Pelicans have made an announcement regarding the organization’s leadership.

On Sunday, the team announced that Pelicans president Ryan Moore will be taking a leave from the day-to-day operations for his health and wellbeing.

“In the same way Ryan has exemplified leadership with our team through honesty, self-reflection, and hard work, he is demonstrating that discipline in caring for his health, and remaining committed to being the best version of himself for his family and community,” said Pelicans chairman Chuck Greenberg.

General Manager Kristin Call will expand her duties during Moore’s leave.
