Rabid atheist here: this is what I would expect from a modern religious leader.

This pope went to college about 15 min from where I live. Any pope that was born and raised in the US, that spent time in Phila area at Villanova University better be talking like this.

I haven’t been catholic for many years, but this guy is what being a good catholic and good leader is all about.

  3. Meanwhile, American evangelical grifters are calling Leo out and saying he doesn’t know what he’s talking about.

  4. At least the Catholic Church remembers the Nazis! They didn’t condemn the Nazis when they were killing Jews and the Catholic Church even promoted the Nazi party in Germany. Then AFTER the war, when the world learned of the atrocities did they condemn their actions. So condemning them now before they get started is the evolution of the Church- the same church that IS its own country, enough Money to support being its own country with TAX Exemptions for operating on TAXED lands for ZERO COST- and they’ve been using this system for HOW LONG?

Stop with the bullshit- religion is another weapon of the MASTERS to control the MASSES. If you don’t see it, no one else can show you, and you have been brainwashed into believing a corrupt system masked as Good for the downtrodden KEEPS them downtrodden for good. Wake the fuck up!

    >President Donald Trump’s threats to obliterate Iran with a total bombing campaign drew fierce condemnation from Pope Leo XIV on Tuesday, who proclaimed, “This is truly not acceptable. Here there are certainly questions of international law, but even more than this a question of morality for the good of people,” and that “attacks on civilian infrastructure are against international law, but it is also against sign of the hatred and division that we are capable of.”

    >Not long after this repudiation, Trump announced a two-week ceasefire with Iran that at least delays this threat.

    >The Pope’s commentary drew immediate fury from some MAGA commentators, with right-wing personality Mike Cernovich fuming, “Has the Pope told the Council of Bishops and Catholic Charities [sic] to stop destroying my country via mass migration and welfare fraud? Has he ever stated that immigration fraud is a sin?”

Didn’t the Minister of War have a military prayer service a few days ago, to summon their god to bless their war against Allah, in which Catholics were specifically barred from entering?

Immigration fraud tanks right up there with genocide in the illogical MAGA mind.

  8. There is no criticism that should be raising eyebrows after threatening another civilization with nuclear administration, he deserved all the criticism given to him; as well as the all of those permitting him to continue.

Gotta love how the MAGA crowd thinks they are above God, and can arbitrarily decide what is a sin and what isn’t with their “immigration fraud is a sin”. I can guarantee you won’t find immigration fraud mentioned anywhere in the Bible.
