Israel, while continuing its genocide and escalating ethnic cleansing against Indigenous Palestinians, is intensifying  its criminal military aggression against the peoples of Lebanon and Iran.

With a massive wave of airstrikes, Israel is ferociously targeting Beirut and many other Lebanese cities and villages, committing rolling massacres of Lebanese people and destroying homes and civilian infrastructure. As a result, hundreds have been killed or maimed, including a horrifying number of children.

Official Lebanese figures suggest the country is undergoing one of its deadliest periods, with more than 1,500 killed by Israeli military since the start of March 2026, over 5,200 since 2023. Israel’s mass destruction and massacres have also led to the displacement of over one  million Lebanese.

Breaking the US ceasefire with Iran, Israel has explicitly stated that it will continue its bombardment and ethnic cleansing of Lebanon. Israel is desperately trying to  expand its borders by colonizing even more Lebanese territory, while simultaneously seizing more illegally occupied Palestinian land in Gaza and the West Bank, including East Jerusalem.

In doing so, Israel is also trying to cover  up its utter failure to achieve any of its declared colonial goals, whether political or military, despite the savage livestreamed genocide of 2.3 million Palestinians in Gaza.

Israel could not have persisted in its war of extermination in Gaza and its brutal attacks across Palestine and the region without the arming, funding, and shielding from accountability of its criminal partners in the US government and the colonial West more generally.

Aside from material support,  the West has enabled Israel’s genocide by engaging in the dehumanization and erasure of our people; denying the Palestinian and Lebanese peoples their right to resist foreign occupation and colonization, in accordance with international law.

Western complicity in Israel’s genocide and wars of aggression has also included an unprecedented wave of intimidation and repression against the inspiring and fast growing Palestine solidarity movement, particularly the student-led mobilizations in their own countries.

Unlike the fraternal solidarity of peoples of the Arab region, the complicity of the unelected and unrepresentative Arab dictatorships, from the Atlantic Ocean to the Gulf, has also played a pivotal role. These normalizing regimes have mobilized their rarely used air defense systems to support Israel’s wars.

The livestreamed Israeli brutality we have witnessed since October 2023 stems from almost 78 years of settler-colonialism and apartheid against Indigenous Palestinians. It is ushering in an era of “might makes right” and the demise of international law

It is also reflective of the inherent, deep-seated racism of Israel’s settler-colonial ideology, Zionism, which has persistently strived to eliminate the Indigenous Palestinian people and steal as much land as possible from across the region, whenever the opportunity avails itself, to establish “Greater Israel.” For Israel the opportunity is now, and virtually all Israeli parties from across the spectrum support this genocidal colonial vision, which would entail carving parts of Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon, Syria, Saudi Arabia and Iraq–not just swallowing up all of Palestine.

In the face of the Israeli-US ongoing genocide and massacres, silence and inaction is complicity.

We call for accumulating more intersectional people power worldwide through BDS campaigns and peaceful disruption of business-as-usual to further isolate apartheid Israel and the corporations and institutions that enable its genocide and underlying apartheid regime.

We call for mass pressure on governments to enact the decisions of the International Court of Justice and the latest UN General Assembly resolution by imposing a comprehensive military and energy embargo on Israel alongside lawful trade, financial, academic, sports, and diplomatic sanctions. Israel must be expelled from the UN and from international and regional fora, including the Olympics and FIFA, just as apartheid South Africa was.

The peoples of Palestine and Lebanon stand united today against Israel’s genocide and horrific aggression. We rely on the meaningful solidarity of the people of conscience worldwide to do whatever they can to end all forms of state, corporate and institutional complicity in Israel’s unspeakable crimes against humanity.

Together we can end Israel’s 77-year-old regime of settler colonialism, occupation, apartheid and genocide.

Together we can save humanity from the descent into unhinged brutality.
