MADISON, Wis. (WBAY) – A new letter was published Thursday by all the tribes of Wisconsin concerning the online sports betting bill currently on the governor’s desk.

The letter is signed by all the tribes in the state, showing support for the legislation and asking Governor Tony Evers to sign it.

The bill would allow sports betting to take place anywhere in Wisconsin so long as the servers for the apps are located on tribal lands.

Gov. Evers had previously said he was unsure if he would sign it because it was not clear if all the tribes were on board.

Thursday is the deadline for the governor to either sign or veto the bill.
