The Albanian government has today approved a new decision related to the stay of Ukrainian citizens in our country.

According to the official announcement, Ukrainian citizens will be allowed to enter the territory of the Republic of Albania without a visa and to stay without a residence permit until March 30, 2027.

This decision also applies to all Ukrainian citizens currently in Albania, who will be able to continue their stay without the need for a residence permit within the same period.

“Determination of the period of entry and stay of Ukrainian citizens in the Republic of Albania. According to this decision, Ukrainian citizens are allowed to enter the territory of the Republic of Albania without a visa and to stay without a residence permit until 30.3.2027. Ukrainian citizens who are in the territory of the Republic of Albania are allowed to stay without a residence permit until 30.3.2027,” the announcement states.

Ukraine has been at war with Russia since February 2022. Even though several years have passed, there is still no ceasefire agreement.
