For those three days, would you go south and hike in Saltfjellet–Svartisen National Park, or go north to visit North Cape? The latter area seems a bit less interesting after Lofoten, but I’d love to hear any recommendations. The trip is in June.

Svartisen is more spectacular. Drove our RV there to stay a night last summer just because the landscape is such a great landscape.
However, north cape is the most geographically extreme location to have been at. I have been there too. It’s extrelemly far north.
Definately south to hike. In my experience Svartisen and Saltfjellet offer much more of a “norway nature experience”. Beautiful scenery and reindeer and so on. Plus the north is pretty big and so i feel like 3 days won’t be enough if you dont focus on a specific area
Going to Nordkapp from Lofoten is twice as far as Saltfjellet.
Rule 6.
Two weeks in Lofoten sounds like a lot.
