Istanbul, April 11 (SANA) A cultural and artistic event titled “Syria: Cradle of Civilizations” was launched in Istanbul on Saturday, drawing members of the Syrian community as well as participants interested in cultural affairs.
The initiative is organized by the General Union of Syrian Students and the Syrian Students Union at Topkapi University in Istanbul, in partnership with the Wajd Art Group and with support from several organizations, including TISUP, YTB, and the Bab a-Alam Association.
The event aims to highlight Syrian heritage and its cultural legacy through a program of artistic and visual presentations, taking visitors on a journey through Syrian history and showcasing the elements of a cultural identity shaped over thousands of years as one of the world’s oldest civilizations.
