According to Slovenian media outlet Ekipa, Doncic is currently in Slovenia, where he is visiting his two daughters, whom he has not seen for several months.
Per the report, Doncic has completed the first round of treatment in Spain and will return to Madrid after his brief stay with his family in Slovenia to continue rehabilitation for his Grade 2 left hamstring strain. He is then expected to travel back to Los Angeles afterward.
For now, his return timeline remains uncertain ahead of the playoffs, and he could potentially miss some postseason games.
With Doncic and Austin Reaves (oblique) sidelined, the Lakers have maintained a top-four position in the standings and secured home-court advantage for the playoffs, where they are set to face the Houston Rockets.
The Lakers currently hold a 52–29 record with one game remaining in the regular season.
