The milestone marks another step in the institute’s mission to develop globally competitive digital talent and strengthen the region’s capacity in advanced ICT fields.

The National Telecommunication Institute  has been awarded the prestigious Cisco Premier+ Award for the second consecutive year, reinforcing its position among the top global training partners within the Cisco Networking Academy  ecosystem.

The recognition places the institute among the top 5 percent of training and support centers worldwide, highlighting its sustained excellence in delivering high-quality ICT education and professional development. The achievement reflects a long-standing partnership with Cisco Systems, which dates back to 1999. Notably, the institute was the first Academy Support Center in Egypt, the Middle East, and Africa.

Over the past two decades, the collaboration has enabled the training and certification of hundreds of instructors and the empowerment of thousands of students across the country. These efforts have contributed significantly to building skills in key areas such as network infrastructure and cybersecurity, aligning with global industry demands.

The award also underscores the institute’s ongoing commitment to equipping students for the global job market, enhancing teaching quality through instructor support, and advancing digital transformation through innovative training programs. It further reflects NTI’s role in promoting technological awareness and developing specialized courses in networking and cybersecurity.

The award was received by Ahmed Khattab, director of the institute, from Ahmed Farouk, Regional Director for Community Responsibility and Cisco Academies. The ceremony was attended by Karim Obaid, Technical Director for the Middle East and Africa, alongside other Cisco Academy leaders.

The milestone marks another step in the institute’s mission to develop globally competitive digital talent and strengthen the region’s capacity in advanced ICT fields.
