Military personnel and equipment from units of the Bulgarian Land Forces will move along the national road and rail network on April 14 and 15, 2026, to take part in planned exercises, the Defence Ministry said.
On April 14, troops and equipment will travel from Sliven to the Koren Training Area for upcoming live-fire tactical drills involving units from the 13th Brigade Command.
On April 15, military convoys will move from Gorna Oryahovitsa, Karlovo, Musachevo and Stara Zagora to the Novo Selo Training Area for field training exercises.
The ministry added that at the end of March, Bulgarian naval special forces held joint training with troops from the UK Royal Marines’ 42 Commando unit.
