The 22nd meeting of the EU–Montenegro Joint Consultative Committee (JCC) will be held in Podgorica. The meeting will bring together representatives of organised civil society from the European Union and Montenegro to exchange views on recent developments in EU–Montenegro relations and on key priorities in the EU accession process.

The discussions will focus on:

  • the state of play of EU–Montenegro relations, including the Reform Agenda and the Growth Plan for the Western Balkans;
  • the implementation of the Fundamentals Cluster and preparations for the EU–Western Balkans Summit;
  • social policy and employment (Chapter 19), including social dialogue and the protection of vulnerable groups;
  • the coordination of structural instruments and preparations for the next Multiannual Financial Framework;
  • the situation of civil society in Montenegro.

A joint declaration will be adopted following the meeting.
