North Macedonia drops below 2 million mobile lines at end-2025

North Macedonia ended the fourth quarter of 2025 with 1.99 million active mobile lines, a drop from the 2.10 million reported in the previous quarter by AEK. This total included 1.03 million residential postpaid lines, 712,067 residential prepaid lines, and 247,951 business postpaid lines. Mobile internet users totalled 1.65 million, and there were 347,900 active M2M SIM cards. A1 Makedonija held the largest market share at 47.01 percent, followed closely by Makedonski Telekom at 46.37 percent.
