Two from Albania and two from Hungary and Montenegro, 4 people extradited to Kosovo – Wanted for various crimes

Kosovo Police have announced that four people wanted by international arrest warrants involved in various criminal offenses have been extradited from Hungary, Albania and Montenegro to Kosovo.
One person has been extradited from Hungary, two from Albania, and one from Montenegro.
“Previously, the suspects were arrested by the authorities of the respective countries and the extraditions were carried out based on the laws in force and close cooperation between the institutions of the Republic of Kosovo and the countries from which the wanted persons were extradited,” the police announced, among other things, Gazeta Express reports.

The Kosovo Police, namely the Directorate for International Police Cooperation, in coordination and cooperation with other relevant units of the Kosovo Police and justice institutions, on April 14 and 15, 2026, successfully carried out the extradition of four persons wanted by justice, who were internationally wanted through INTERPOL.
On 14.04.2026, the Kosovar citizen with the initials QI was extradited from Hungary to Kosovo, as he was wanted by Kosovo’s justice institutions.
After extradition, the suspect was handed over to the relevant police units in the Gjakova region for further legal proceedings. Â
While today, on 15.04.2026, two Albanian citizens, RB and GH, were extradited from Albania to Kosovo, as they were wanted by justice institutions. After the extradition, the suspects were handed over to the Directorate for the Investigation of Human Trafficking, for the continuation of other legal proceedings.
Also today, on 15.04.2026, the extradition from Montenegro to Kosovo of the Kosovar citizen IA was carried out, the same was requested by the justice institutions, after the extradition the suspect was handed over to the relevant unit in the Mitrovica region for continuation of other legal proceedings. Â
The suspects had previously been arrested by authorities of the respective countries and the extraditions were carried out based on the laws in force and close cooperation between the institutions of the Republic of Kosovo and the countries from which the wanted persons were extradited.
