A day after talking about arming Serbia, Vučić tells the US Deputy Secretary that peace is imperative for the region

Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic has announced that he had a telephone conversation today with US Deputy Secretary of State Christopher Landau.
Vučić said they talked about bilateral relations, energy, regional stability and current geopolitical circumstances.
“We discussed strengthening energy security and stability of supply, as well as challenges in the energy sector, including the functioning of the Serbian Oil Industry, with the aim of maintaining market security and predictability,” Vucic wrote.
He indicated that they also talked about regional and global developments.
“I said that maintaining peace and stability is one of the imperatives for the further development and progress of the Western Balkans region and the broader international environment,” Vucic wrote.
Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic, just yesterday, after a meeting with the leaders of “Republika Srpska”, spoke about Serbia’s intentions for armament, since according to him the security situation has changed after the Croatia-Albania-Kosovo agreement.
