Construction group YIT has finalized its restructuring negotiations, resulting in a workforce reduction of 95 positions in Finland. The company, which employs approximately 4,100 people, is simultaneously implementing a new functional organizational structure and launching a dedicated division for data centers, energy, and industrial construction.
The measures are projected to yield annual cost savings of 18 million euros by 2027, with 7 million euros expected to be realized as early as 2026. One-off costs associated with the restructuring amount to 4 million euros.
The company originally announced the commencement of these redundancy negotiations in February.
