Kanye West’s planned concert in Poland has been cancelled, adding to a series of setbacks affecting his 2026 European tour.

The rapper, also known as Ye, was scheduled to perform on June 19 at the Silesian Stadium. However, stadium officials confirmed on April 17 that the event would no longer take place.

Official Statement Confirms Cancellation

Stadium director Adam Strzyzewski announced the decision, citing legal and formal issues.

“We would like to inform you that the Ye (Kanye West) concert planned for 19 June 2026 at the Slaski Stadium will not take place due to formal and legal reasons,” he said in a statement.

Backlash From Polish Officials

The announcement followed criticism from Polish authorities, including Culture Minister Marta Cienkowska, who condemned the artist over past antisemitic remarks and controversial behavior.

“We are talking about an artist who has publicly expressed antisemitic views, downplayed crimes, and profited from selling swastika T-shirts,” she stated.
“These are not ‘controversies.’ This is a deliberate crossing of boundaries and the normalization of hatred.”

Series of European Setbacks

The Poland cancellation follows another major setback earlier this year when West was dropped from the Wireless Festival 2026 lineup in London.

The United Kingdom’s Home Office reportedly revoked his Electronic Travel Authorisation (ETA), stating his presence was “not conducive to the public good.”

Festival organizers later confirmed the event would be cancelled due to the inability to secure a replacement headliner on short notice.

Further Disruptions to Tour Plans

West has also postponed his scheduled summer concert in Marseille, France.

In a post on X, the artist stated that the delay was his own decision.

Uncertain Future for 2026 Performances

With multiple cancellations and postponements across Europe, the future of Kanye West’s 2026 tour schedule remains uncertain.
