Great comeback from the Kosovo women’s national team, defeats Bulgaria in the “Fadil Vokrri”

The Kosovo national football team, in the women’s competition, has won a big victory over the Bulgarian national team.
In the match that took place as part of the World Cup qualifiers (League C), Kosovo defeated Bulgaria at “Fadil Vokrri”.
The visitors were the first to take the lead, through Lora Petrova in the 42nd minute of the match.
After the first half ended with the guests leading, Kosovo returned to the game in the second 45 minutes.
“Dardanet” led by Sami Sermaxhaj had 12 shots in the second half, eight of which were inside the goal frame.
Sermaxhaj’s team managed to score twice, through Blerta Smaili and Erëleta Memeti.
Smaili scored in the 51st minute, while Memeti scored in the 97th minute for three big points.
The match ended 2-1 and thus Kosovo received three important points, which keep it at the top of Group 2 of League C of these qualifiers, with 12 points.
Kosovo has three points more than second-place Croatia, while Bulgaria has four. Last in the group is Gibraltar with zero points.
Kosovo will play its next matches in June, when it hosts Croatia on June 5 and travels to Gibraltar on June 9./Express newspaper/
