A suspected triple homicide has shaken Montenegro after three adult men were found dead in an apartment in the Old Airport neighborhood of the city.

Local media have identified two of the victims as brothers from Rozhaje, Denis Hoti, 28, and Nezrin Hoti, 27. Authorities confirmed that all three victims were adult males and stated there is currently no indication that the incident is linked to organized crime activity.

Police have launched a manhunt for a suspect identified as Vehid Muri?, also from Rožaje, who is believed to have carried out the killings overnight in a rented apartment. Preliminary findings suggest the suspect killed three individuals he had been working with at a construction site before fleeing the scene.

Investigators say the incident appears to have stemmed from personal disputes between the victims and the suspect. All individuals involved are reportedly from the same town near the Albanian border.

Authorities believe the killings were carried out using a sharp weapon. Following the incident, the suspect is thought to have returned to his hometown, where, according to sources, he allegedly assaulted his mother at the family residence.

The suspect’s family reportedly alerted police to the incident, which ultimately led to the discovery of the crime scene in Podgorica.

A large-scale police operation is now underway to locate and apprehend the suspect, while investigations continue into the full circumstances surrounding the case.
